Be honest, Lacey Underall seems like a name you’d hear on a Bond or Austin Powers movie, right? Well it was used for a comedy after all since Cindy Morgan was part of the original Caddyshack cast and played a rather fun-loving, carefree, but very spoiled young woman that knew what she wanted and usually went and got it. A lot of us remember Cindy from the iconic golfing movie largely because she didn’t play by the rules and was the type that you tended to drool over if you were guy since she was absolutely gorgeous and seemed ready to sidle up to any guy she fancied and see what happened. But an interesting fact about Cindy is that she was legally blind at this time and without her contact lenses couldn’t see much of anything. She had to be guided to the diving board for her big pool scene, and before that one of the actors she walked by, Scott Colomby aka Tony D’Annunzio, was supposed to say something to her but wound up just licking his lips, which is the shot that was used.
Who Is Lacey Underall From Caddyshack?
Her real name is Cynthia Ann Cichorski, though she took the name Cindy Morgan based on a story she read about Morgan le Fay when she was just 12 years old. At one point she was working for a weather station and a radio station as until she began working on TV in commercials. It was actually this that got her career started as she was noticed and picked up to play the part of Lacey. Following that she actually starred in Tron in 1982 as well, and her career kept moving on from that point though it would seem that she wasn’t quite as successful as she’d been initially. One interesting thing is that her acting mentor was none other than Rodney Dangerfield, who she starred with in Caddyshack. The famous comedian took her under his wing when she was 25 and it’s obvious that she learned a great deal from him, but it’s still enough to remember that the acting world is rough one and if a person’s career isn’t moving upward then the best that can be hoped for is to maintain and simply keep moving forward. To date Cindy is still listed as active when it comes to acting but it would appear that she hasn’t done much since 2016. At this point it’s hard to say if she’s really going to stay active in show business or if she’s just going to keep coming and going for a while until she finally retires, but she has managed to keep a career alive thus far and she’s still fairly recognizable as she’s well into her 60s and is aging well it would seem.
Why Cindy Didn’t Find The Success Her Co-Stars Did
There isn’t a whole lot out there on Cindy as her career didn’t take the same trajectory as several of her costars, though she did become a mother at one point and it’s fair to say that she’s still recognized enough as she seems to show up for conventions and other events from time to time. Much of the information to be found on her is bound to say the same thing, so it’s almost easy to think that she’s settled into near-retirement and is simply enjoying living a quieter life away from the cameras at this time. Her net worth isn’t all that big but it’s enough to keep a person secure and well-off, so it’s enough. A lot of people might want to remember her as Lacey since back in the day she was an absolute bombshell that was one of many that people remember from the 80s, which has become a decade that many people seem to want to emulate or berate depending on their mood and quite possibly their motivation behind doing so. For those of us that remember Caddyshack fondly her presence was something that was, in a way, kind of nice since she offered up the sex appeal that the movie needed, but also another promise of trouble that was shameless and didn’t seem to think that there was anything wrong with just having fun without consequences. Back then it seemed kind of cute and even alluring, but now it seems like a hassle waiting to happen, even in the movies. Still, when it’s a big part of what makes a movie worth watching it’s hard to say anything too negative about it.

A lot of us want to remember our favorite stars as they were back in the day, especially if they’re not doing much in the current era.
