Reba was a lot of fun and it was the kind of show that allowed people to kind of get into a mixed family situation that might have been similar to their own as many people in America right now have dealt with split families. The cast have all gone their separate ways now but there was talk about doing a revival of the show and possibly bringing everyone back. Whether or not that will happen or even has a chance is hard to guess but out of all the shows that have been ended, cancelled, or otherwise dropped from their network this feels like one that might be welcomed back since the characters were all fairly easy to like and had their own distinctive quirks that made them special. Pretty much every actor on this show grew in some way during its run and went on to do something else afterward.
So let’s see what everyone got up to.
Mitch Hollerman – Jake Hart
During the filming of the show Mitch was actually guest-starring on other shows like Everybody Loves Raymond and doing parts in films. He showed up in Bubble Boy and The Animal, and even went on to have a part in The Hangover. So far it looks as though he’s kept busy and is still in the business. Reba was pretty much where he did a lot of his growing up, so it’s the biggest credit he’s got to his career at the moment.
Scarlett Pomers – Kyra Hart
Scarlett hasn’t done a whole lot since the show but had a full career before her part was even cast. In fact to be honest she hasn’t really done anything since the show ended, at least not in the Hollywood sense. Scarlett had a serious eating disorder during the filming and had to be checked into a care facility at one point. Her disorder even got mentioned on the show to thunderous applause when it was discovered that she was dealing with it.
Christopher Rich – Brock Hart
Christopher has been quite busy following the end of the Reba show in both films and in TV. In fact he has a couple of films at this point that are in post-production and should be announced eventually. His career has been a long and busy one as he’s been seen in many different venues and has always had that kind of cocksure manner about him that people grew used to seeing on the show.
Steve Howey – Van Montgomery
It’s easy to see how Steve ended up since he took up one of the best roles on the hit show Shameless. His character is one of the only people in the world that can continually put with the Gallagher’s and their insane antics while at the same time helping to support their family and his own. He’s been prevalent in many shows and in movies as well during the course of his career, though up until a certain point he was usually the geeky kid that couldn’t do much.
Joanna Garcia – Cheyenne Hart Montgomery
Joanna is another one of the cast that managed to have a long list of accomplishments before and after the show as she has starred as Ariel on the show Once Upon A Time and has been featured in several movies that people might easily recognize such as The Internship and Fist Fight. So it’s easy to see that she’s had a good time of it after her stint on the show and is just doing just fine as far as her career goes.
Melissa Peterman-Barbara Jean Booker Hart
She’s been more of a TV star than a film star since the show went off the air but she’s managed to be a big part of whatever production she’s been placed in, showing just how funny she still is and what kind of actress she can be. Melissa was in the film Here Comes the Boom with Kevin James and she’s most recently been seen in the show Young Sheldon, the spinoff of The Big Bang Theory that shows just how Sheldon became the person he is on the main show.
Reba McEntire – Reba Hart
There’s no real need to wonder if Reba’s been doing okay after the show since she seems to be one of the immortals when it comes to acting and to music. Believe it or not her filmography is kind of short in comparison to her TV appearances and the number of albums she’s put out. In fact her first ever film was Tremors, which is funny since she performed a song or two for the movie as well. But ever since the show she’s been plugging along with her career and done just fine.
It’s great to see what even though a couple of the actors haven’t done much the rest of them have stayed busy.
