Just when everyone thought the Cubs were down for the count, they make a historic comeback to take the Indians to game 7 of the World Series. It’s about as dramatic as America’s favorite pastime will ever get, and everyone will be watching–diehard baseball fan or not.

Solid World Series Streaming Options Come with a Cable Subscription
There are a few streaming services out there that you can login and watch game 7 of the World Series if you have a cable subscription or just a friend’s login information. Here are details on some of the best options:
FOX Sports Go App: The streaming service from FOX, FOX Sports Go, is an incredibly easy and free option to stream the World Series. You need a cable subscription to sign-in and use it, but if you do it’s an easy way to stream on your phone or TV with connected devices. Or, you can sign in online as well if you prefer the computer screen.
MLB.TV: With a cable subscription you can login to MLB.TV and watch the World Series live pitch-by-pitch. The cost is only $9.99 for the rest of the season and the MLB has even thrown in free streaming for Spring Training next year. If you don’t have cable, than MLB.TV is not an optimal streaming option. You can still sign up and use it, but only to watch replays of games 90 minutes after they have finished.
Even Without Cable You Can Stream the World Series
Those are both great options and make it incredibly easy if you want to watch game 7 of the World Series online or even stream it on your TV. But, they are not the only options. A couple cable cuttings tools and services will be of help to anyone who wants to cut the cord and not miss the World Series. Here are your options:
Antenna: The antenna will likely be your best option, because watching is free and you can watch FOX live from a lot of locations throughout the U.S. The antenna picks up on the over-the-air network broadcast of FOX and other channels like ABC, NBC, and CBS. In turn, you get to watch live in high-definition picture right on your TV. The only cost is the initial investment in the antenna.
Sling TV: One of the most popular cable cutting solutions out there, Sling TV will provide a chance to watch the World Series live. The package you’ll need, Sling Blue, costs $25 per month and offers over 40 cable channels to stream. FOX is available live in certain locations, which will be your chance to watch the World Series. Plus, if it is available you can watch for free with a 7-day free trial.
PlayStation Vue: Sony’s streaming service, PlayStation Vue, also has FOX available in specific areas. If FOX is available, the cost of the service starts at $39.99 per month, but does have over 60 channels to live stream. Plus, you can once again watch a chunk of the series for free with a weeklong trial. Most areas that have FOX on Sling TV have it on PlayStation Vue too, so you could always combine the two free trials and watch maybe the entire World Series at no cost. You can also use your login for FOX Sports Go, even if you aren’t in a local FOX market!
It’s worth noting that you need a fast internet connection for high quality streaming. Verizon Fios has won Netflix’s speed index for the past year or so, so you might want to check them out if available in your area. But in general, you won’t be able to stream without hiccups if you have below 5 Mbps.
