OK fine this is my last Oscars post of the day. I promise. No, seriously. I promise. Last night’s Oscars was historic. Jimmy Kimmel was definitely on his A game roasting celebrities from the onset. He even took a stab at Meryl Streep’s dress after all the controversy surrounding her and designer Karl Lagerfield. The Dolby Theater filled a busload of wide-eyed tourists who apparently had no idea they were being led into the hottest ticket in the world.
Kimmel tweeted out to our President, and of course the biggest flub in the history of the Oscars took place. La La Land won best picture but actually it didn’t. Turns out the wrong envelope was given or read from or something, and Moonlight was the real winner for best picture. Needless to say it was a fun evening with plenty of surprises, reactions, and comments.
