I don’t know about you guys but I’m kind of psyched for War for Planet of the Apes. I really like the evolution of Caesar and his voice happens to be amazing. This new poster is pretty chilling as is the new trailer. Woody Harrelson looks like a total lunatic and frankly I’m digging it. I do have a question though. Who in the world is that kid in the poster and is this child on Caesar’s side or the “human” side? From the looks of the trailer she’s clearly on team Ape. I wonder if it’s Woody Harrelson’s daughter. That’d be a nice twist. Here’s the synopsis.
Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless colonel (Woody Harrelson). After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both of their species and the future of the planet.
I can only assume the humans lose this battle but it’s going to be awesome to see what kind of plan Caesar has with that advanced noggin of his.
