What Comic Characters Look Like Compared To Their Movie Counterparts

The surge in comic book movies since the year 2000 (when X-Men first came out) cannot be overstated.  Not only is the genre here to stay but it continues to grow.  Filmmakers and writers continue to draw inspiration from comics and comic book characters to transform them into real life characters.   While the personalities and mental elements of said characters are explored, so too are the physical.

But exactly how much of the comic book character’s physical self carries over to the movies.   In some films there’s an exact likeness while in others the movie costume designers decided to go with their own look.  However, in 100% of the cases you’re always going to find something that signifies the comic book character, even if the details are small and intricate.

Below is a gallery that shows a wide range of characters compared to their comic book selves.   Hope you enjoy!
