The Walking Dead: The Final Season Will Be Revealed at PAX East

The Walking Dead: The Final season is going to be revealed at PAX East on April 6th, and it’s expected to be something amazing. The perilous journey of Clementine is about to come to an end it would seem as her long and arduous trek to this point will finally seem to wrap up. It might be fair to say that the game has become just as popular as the show at this point since the show has been dipping in ratings for a while and others have felt the need to branch out with the various games that have cropped up as a result. The games however are a great way for fans to finally become a part of the experience and feel like they’re actually in there attempting to save those they can and chop some zombies to bits.

The game will be releasing on consoles, PC, and mobile so it will be extremely available for those that have been following its progress so far. To think all of this started so long ago now is something amazing. People didn’t know what to think about The Walking Dead when it first came out, but a lot of folks were excited about it and embraced the show and then the games without hesitation. There’s some quality to a good zombie show that makes it seem as though people just can’t walk away from it. The horror, the terror of the chase, the very nature of the show and the game makes people feel their skin crawl, but for some it’s and undeniable adrenaline rush that gets them into the game and keeps them playing for as long as they possibly can. That addiction is what the designers and story tellers are counting on since it allows them to keep generating ideas and story lines for the characters to go through.

It seems like this story is going to end soon though, and whether it ends on a happy note or not is going to be up to the writing team and what they’ve come up with. A lot of fans of the game can probably guess what could happen and maybe even theorize why. But until the teaser is revealed it’s all so much talk that might not materialize into anything. As of right now people that are still in love with the game and don’t want to see it end are those that will likely be paying the most attention when the unveiling comes around. The game might even be just a little more popular than the show as of now since it’s holding up to the expectations more often than the show has been, which is a hard thing to say even though it seems pretty accurate.

The Walking Dead story lines, both the show and the game, have been through a lot at this point and there’s not much else to say unless they decide to go in a different direction, which at this point could be a huge mistake. Trust in the writers though, the game should be something worth taking a look at.
