When you think of animated films the first studios that come to mind are usually Pixar and Dreamworks. However, companies like Blue Sky and Industrial Film & Magic are certainly no slouches in the animation field. The reality is that there are hundreds of these companies. However, there’s one company that people don’t know quite as well in the United States that rules the animé world. That company is Studio Ghibli.
This is the studio that Hayao Miyazaki created and his name is the stuff of legend when it comes to animated feature films. The company was founded in 1985 and has created nearly 20 films all of which are considered masterpieces.
