The 1998 debut of the television series “Felicity” was the beginning of a four season run that ended too soon. It taught us about love triangles and spurred a debate between Noel and Ben that wasn’t really ever resolved. Many fans are wondering whatever happened to the cast of the popular college drama. How many have gone on to pursue careers in acting and who has split the scene for other lifestyles? We have the answers for you as we take a look at where the cast of “Felicity” is today.
Keri Russel
Keri played the role of Felicity Porter, the main character of the series. Before landing the part of Felicity, she was one of the famed Mousketeers. She has gone on to appear in “Malibu Shores,” an evening soap opera, and was in “Mission Impossible 3” is 2006. She attempted a role in the sitcom “Running Wilde,” but the show was cancelled, running for only one season. She appeared in “Mission Impossible 3” in 2006. Most currently she has a role as a spy in “The Americans.” Russell married and separated from Shane Deary and has two children with him.
Scott Speedman
Scott Speedman was Ben Covington in “Felicity.” He was the guy that she was crushing on and she followed him to college in New York. After the series ended, Speedman became the star of “Underworld.” He appeared in “The Last Resort” in 2012, but aside from that he hasn’t done much in show business.
Tangi Miller
Tangi played the part of Elena Tyler who shared a dorm room with Felicity and was frequently her partner in the lab. Miller has made a few appearances in minor films and she has also become a producer. Some of her works include: “Guardian of Eden,” “My Girlfriend’s Back” and “Hollywood Chaos.”
Rob Benedict
Rob was Richard Coad in the series. He was the deviant who would stop at nothing to get his own way. This role was the first real break for Rob who went on to appear in Beverly Hills, 90210. He has kept himself busy making guest appearances on series including Touch, The Mentalist, Franklin & Bash, Psych, Shameless and NCIS:Los Angeles. He tried his hand at writing with a short called Lifetripper in which he also starred.
Scott Foley
Scott Foley played Noel Crane who was the RA who took an immediate liking to Felicity. Since “Felicity,” he had a recurring role on “Dawson’s Creek” as Cliff Harris. He was also on several episodes of “The Unit from 2006 to 2009. Most recently, he’s had recurring roles on “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “True Blood.” He is wed to fellow actress Marika Dominczyk.
Greg Grunberg
Grunberg was Sean Blumberg on the show. He didn’t attend UNY, but he was a regular part of the group. Felicity was the break that helped his career. He became a part of the “Alias” cast in 2001 and was in “Heroes” as Matt Parkman. He also made an appearance in “Love Bites” and had a recurring role on “The Client List” as Dale Locklin.
Amanda Foreman
We all remember Meghan Rotundi who was Felicities new age roomie. Currently, she makes appearances in minor roles but all of them have been short lived. We’ve seen her appear on “Criminal Minds,” “Parenthood,” Star Trek” “House M.D.” and few other similar parts.
Donald Faison
Donald was Tracy, Elana’s boyfriend. He came into the series during the middle and stayed until the end. From 2001 to 2010, Faison was Dr Turk on the series “Scrubs.” He is currently starring in “The Exes.” He’s kept his foot in the door and is making progress.
Amy Jo Johnson
Amy Jo was Julie Emrick, the friend who played guitar. While “Felicity” was a good opportunity for her, she already gained notoriety as the “Pink Power Ranger” from 1993-1995. She went on to star in “Flashpoint” and “The Division.”
Ian Gomez
Gomez was Javier, Ben and Felicity’s boss at the coffee shop. He also appeared in a recurring role in “Norm” concurrently. Today he is the husband of Nia Vardalos, writer and actress, and has played the role of Andy Torres on “Cougartown” since landing the role in 2009.
