This beautiful clan of blonde surfer sisters has been nicknamed the Kardashians of the surfing world. From the looks of their Instagram accounts, it’s easy to see why. Stunning Aussie sisters Ellie-Jean Coffey, 22 and 17-year-old Holly-Daze have racked up over one million followers on Instagram thanks to their amazing photos and adventurous lifestyle. Their siblings Jackson (21), Ruby-Lee (16) and Bonnie-Lou (13) have more than 1 million followers.
This sisters aren’t surprised at all by the comparison. Ellie-Jean said: “We obviously can see why we’re compared because of the whole family unit. “But, obviously we’re talented — and not fabulously wealthy.” In fact some of the group is competing on the Sydney Open surfing competition in Australia this week. And it’s not just surfing either. These girls skateboard and also have a unique lifestyle growing up.
The family lived on the road in a caravan and were home-schooled before settling on the Gold Coast six years ago. Their nomadic life was a far cry from their lives today, with the bronzed sisters now being sponsored by Billabong and on the books for IMG models. To date the sisters have taken over 1000 bikini beach shots and people have taken notice. While they’re clearly not the first women to pick up Instagram followers by posting beach shots, they’re certainly a rare breed in that they’re sisters and that they are excellent surfers.
Whether or not these ladies from down under make it up here to the states is anyone’s guess. I doubt the Kardashians have much to worry about at the moment but don’t be surprised to see these ladies a lot more.
