The world was on fire when it saw Alex Trebek pull something we’ve never seen on Jeopardy before. Rap and Jeopardy may not go together normally, but Trebek had it going on when he took on Drake’s “Started From the Bottom,” Designer’s “Panda,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Maad City” and lastly, Kanye West’s controversial hit “Famous.”
“They mad they ain’t famous, they mad they still nameless, but we still hood famous,” he rapped. “Yeah we still hood famous.” After the contestant answered, “Who is Kanye West,” Trebek wryly replied, “Yes. I hope I don’t get an email from him.” Trebeck himself even said “I was just getting into this rap thing. I’m not too good at it but I was getting into it.”

But does anyone even realize this is nothing compared to what Trebeck’s done on the show? I mean yeah it’s awesome to see Alex Trebeck rapping today’s rap and I do hope that his name is now put into the lyrics of Kanye West songs, but Trebek has been the man for some time now. And to show that I’ve selected a few Jeopardy clips that prove just how awesome this man is:
