A lot of bands have come and gone and gained an impressive following but if you happen to ask any fan of the Dave Matthews Band just when they first started listening to DMB they’d likely give you the date and possibly the time. That’s the kind of influence that DMB has on their fans, and it’s well earned. Some bands put on a great show, this one puts on a show that you’ll remember the rest of your life since it’s so energized and so instantly infectious that you can’t get the beats out of your head for the next few months at least, if not the next few years. People have actually blown off serious obligations to go and see a Dave Matthews concert, though thankfully not too serious. In movies and TV they’re just as popular though it’s more likely you’ll see their live shows being aired now and again on one channel or another.
Yeah, they are that good.
5. Saturday Night Live-What Would You Say
To be a guest on SNL when the Dave Matthews Band is in residence would be a moment that you’d remember for the rest of your life no doubt. In fact you might not even remember the skits or who was hosting that night since the musical experience would likely be that great. These guys get into their music so much that you almost feel that you should be on the floor grooving right along with them.
4. The Matrix Reloaded-When The World Ends
The sequel to the mind-bending movie that took audiences by surprise wasn’t quite the same and didn’t have the same verve but it did move the story forward and gave a few more hints that the original movie was just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. There was so much more to the story of the Matrix that it simply boggled the mind to think just how the war between humans machines really began.
3. Joe Dirt-Crash Into Me
Joe Dirt is that lovable loser that you can’t help but like since he has an outlook on life that’s so immensely positive that you have to wonder how he maintains it. He’s got nothing going for him but his health, he’s not an overly intelligent man, and he tends to move from place to place just like a leaf on the wind. And yet he’s still so upbeat that you can’t help but feel for him.
2. Scream 2-Help Myself
Murder loves a copycat, and at times those copycats love to pick up the stragglers that survived the original movie. This time Sydney is at college when she finds that her killer had found her and continued the insane game that was begun in the first movie. The only difference is that this time, the killer is someone she wouldn’t have ever guessed she’d run into.
1. Dave Matthews Band-I Did It
This band has such awesome energy that it’s not too surprising how they manage to draw so many people to their concerts on a regular basis. The power of their music and the insane manner in which they can draw people just by being who they are is hard to pass on.
