Christina Oliva is in her best business niche when it comes to all matters relating to hair extensions. The glamorous entrepreneur stars in the all new Hair Goddess series on TLC. The show follows the daily lifestyle of the 30-year-old Italian-American businesswoman. Her hair extension business is doing quite well in Staten Island, New York and at a new location in the heart of Manhattan. It turns out that Oliva has made a name for herself in hair extension business just by being passionate about it (not to mention her stunning looks).
She is determined to achieve her dreams regardless of the minor setbacks along the way. Other than being a self-made hair mogul, she confessed that she never planned for a TV career when she was young. The show has been attracting massive viewership since it premiered. As such we decided to compile a top moments that captivated viewers in the show so far:
The client thief
One of the most outstanding moments of the season of Hair Goddess is when Christina finds out that one of her well-trusted stylists was stealing clients from her salon. Anthony (who is Christina’s cousin) was the first to discover that Maria was leading clients out of their salon. According to the allegations made by Anthony and Sandra, Maria was spotted sneaking some recommendations to clients in Christina’s salon late in the afternoon the previous day. They gave her some video evidence depicting her actions. Christina was distraught. She went out to collect more information about the incident by calling one of the clients who ended up confessing of being offered a recommendation by Maria. Christina summoned Maria to a meeting and asked her about the incident. Maria at first denied doing such a thing but after she was confronted with some sneaky video footage, she buckled down and headed for the door to leave. Christina confronted her again demanding an apology which she finally said out to the rest of the staff.
Christina’s hilarious parents
Christina’s parents turned out to be hilarious when she visited them on one occasion. The mom who is a college secretary and the dad who is retired and owns a bakery talked with Christina about family making. Her mother talked about how she had already had 3 kids at thirty, implying that Christina ought to rush a little bit about raising a family. She further confessed of the longing of being a grandmother.
Family business
Victoria may be Christina’s sister but Christina sees her as her apprentice. In one morning some unnamed twins were planning to visit the salon for a hair installation. Christina approached her and told her about it which she ended up objecting to doing it. Apparently, she preferred standing by Christina (the real hair goddess, as she thinks) and watches her do all the work by herself because people believe in her sister more than herself. After many compliments from Christina, her sister agreed to try it out on condition that she should only be allowed to do the simplest parts.
