1. Drill Episode 10: Season 1
Drill starts out with an important situation out of which arises a dilemma and bone of contention that cannot be easily addressed. Fighting gang violence is never an easy proposition and it takes some in depth investigation and a little bit of gut level intuition to end up with the correct answers as to who committed the crimes in question. Philip Winchester delivers an amazing performance in this very special moment on the show. Watch this segment and you will have a far better idea of the best that it gets from Chicago Justice.
2. Every Victim Needs Justice Season 1: Episode
The video clip of the moments in which the investigators and prosecutors deal with controversial issues in city politics shows that self restraint is more possible with some people than for others. A clear example of those who uphold the law regardless of who is breaking it is shown with the shooting of a Chicago PD officer. A relentless struggle to ensure that the victim receives justice for the shooting ensues. This episode may be difficult for some to watch.

This scene is perhaps one of the most heart wrenching that we’ve seen on the first season to date. A young girl is murdered. Her name is Dylan. As the prosecuter goes on to describe unpleasannt details , lhe also shows enlarged pictures of the girl. It captures the attention of the group because she is young, beautiful and has her entire life ahead of her until her death took it all away. The prosecutor also describes the sick and twisted motives of the killer in a moment from a scene that is a real heart breaker. Th escen makes every parent of teens and young adults cringe at the thought that there are people just like the perp who took this girl’s life.
4. Lily’s Law

Episode 8 of season one deals with a the death of one of Stone’s jurors. It was believed initially that the woman was murdered by one of the gangbangers in the group of the man that was convicted at trial. In a plot twist, it is discovered that her husband had been extremely abusive and that the woman wasn’t killed by a gang member, but it was determined that she killed her self. Lily’s Law was the provision that allows for the prosecution of persons who create mental duress that ends in the death of a person.

A young man who is arrested dies. Charges are being leveled against the police department as well as Medical and Fire personnel. A guest appearance from Richard Brooks in his role as Paul
Robinette from Law and Order adds to the uniqueness of this episode. The Grand Jury ends with the conviction of a single person found guilty of the charges.
