‘Hellraiser’ is a supernatural body horror movie that was released in 1987. It was written and directed by Clive Barker and based on Barker’s book. ‘The Hellbound Heart’. A couple move into the abandoned home of the man’s late mother after his brother is killed by creatures from another dimension called Cenobites. His brother is accidentally resurrected and needs blood. The couple’s daughter Kirsty is played by Ashley Laurence and she is the heroine in this movie. Others who star in this film include Andrew Robinson, Claire Higgins, and Christopher Young. Ashley Laurence reprised her role in 1988 for ‘Hellbound: Hellraiser II’.
