Tonight at 10pm CBS airs the Salvation Season Finale! It’s got one heck of a title: “The Plot Against America.” Which plot could that be? There are so many!
The Salvation Season Finale Plot Synopsis from CBS
Harris, Grace and Darius must topple the illegitimate government, and makes final plans for the ark, on the season finale of “Salvation,” Wednesday, Sept. 20.
So, this is about the current POTUS Monroe Bennett (Sasha Roiz) and the president’s advisor Claire Rayburn (Erica Luttrell). However, we’ve also got the Russians, who could be plotting defensively against the US. There’s also the hacker group “Resist.”

I am so looking forward to seeing more of Pentagon Press Secretary Grace Barrows (Jennifer Finnigan) telling Claire off! Also, the way that tech genius Darrius Tanz (Santiago Cabrera) looks at Grace while she’s doing this is so full of love and pride. Let’s hope that somewhere in this finale those two get a chance to talk and clear up any doubts about what they feel for each other. Actually, we don’t have to hope. Did you miss the teaser?

There is one intriguing piece of information in the sneak peek that I’m extra curious about. Darius thinks Resist is the one responsible for the “Russian” missile launch. The thing is, that doesn’t sound like them.
Resist was never about destroying the government – just exposing what it was doing wrong. However, before Dylan, the son of Acting Defense Secretary Harris (Ian Anthony Dale), was supposedly killed, he was taking orders from an unseen “big boss”? Yet, the original founder of Resist was murdered, and, as we learned last week, he was killed on Claire’s orders.
Isn’t it interesting that once Resist got that virus into Darius’s computers, the members of Resist were labeled a terrorist organization and were ordered to be taken out by President Bennett – and Claire? Then in the teaser, it’s Claire that’s pulled a gun on someone. ….Is it me, or does it seem more and more that Claire is the one pulling the strings on this entire thing?
Finally, it looks like there may be a more immediate problem than Sampson. It’s not supposed to be hitting earth for at least another three months. Why were all the sirens going off and Darius herding people to his rocket to Mars? Something must have changed…. I guess we’ll find out tonight Don’t forget it’s at 10 pm, not 9!
