The biggest news so far out of Thor: Ragnarok is the dramatic hair change from our famous star Chris Hemsworth. Fans seem to have mixed feelings about the short hair look which is in big contrast to our typical image of Thor. As all of us know Thor is your typical blond, long-haired Norse God with rippling muscles and some stubble. But the studios opted to give Thor a haircut. So what’s the reason for this? Let’s take a brief look at the plot:
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
Nope, that didn’t help much. But let’s talk about Jeff Goldblum as the Grand Master in the picture above. I’m a little frightened by this picture. It looks like he’s drooling glitter paint. I mean I know this is supposed to be futuristic and all but the guy looks like an Egyptian Pharoah. Plus I keep thinking he’s just going to up and pull out his Malcolm character from Jurassic Park at any moment. Anyway, I’m scared.
