If there is one thing we love around here, it’s a great actress. The women from Days of Our Lives never let us down, either. They are strong, capable, gorgeous, and they always find a way to make sur they are able to get their lives in control no matter what comes their way. Whether they are involved in a love triangle or they have some sort of other issue, they can find themselves learning how to fix it and move on. They can protect themselves from men and women who want to hurt them, they can take care of their kids, they can stand up for their careers and businesses, and they can make us all feel empowered when we watch them. They can also make us raise our brows and wonder what they are doing. However, we know that there is a lot that they can accomplish, and that’s why these women are our favorite actresses from the show. Do you agree or not?
Marlena
What’s not to love about her? She’s been Marlena longer than we’ve even been alive, yet she doesn’t appear to do things like age or look at all unattractive. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons we love her so much. She’s flawless in every way. She’s good at what she does playing Marlena. She’s good at looking amazing, being amazing, and always coming across on screen and off as a class act and a real lady. She’s someone who makes us want more of her anytime she is on the show, and she’s never left us feeling bored or unhappy with her situation.
She’s someone who does the job and she excels while doing so. She’s got grace and it shows, and it’s obvious to us she’s a class act all the way. You can’t fake that, and she’s so good at it that it makes us assume she’s just class and grace epitomized. She’s the real reason we watch this show, and she’s the real reason we also feel that John Black is one of our favorite male characters. How can you deny your love of them?
Hope
Hope is such a special character. She’s so straight and narrow, but she’s also someone who will cross a line when she feels that it’s just so much more important to cross the line to protect the law. Don’t get us wrong, however, she will not cross a line for her own personal gain or for the personal gain of anyone else. She will only jeopardize her morals and ethics and her badge when she feels that what she is doing is better for the law than sitting back trying to make it work for the people whom she has sworn to protect.
We also love that she stays out of personal drama. While so many of the women on this show are embroiled and embattled with love triangles and baby mama drama and all that, Hope just does the job and she does it well. She’s married to the force, and she’s not someone who has time to mess around with a bunch of men and their issues. We love her strength, and we love that she’s such a role model most of the time.
Kayla
Do you notice a theme here after our article yesterday highlighting our favorite male characters? We chose the significant others of all three of these women, and it’s these women who make those men so great. Kayla herself is one in a million. She’s a doctor who saves lives and does all she can to make sure that she can help anyone and everyone. She is not afraid to break the law, do what she needs to do, and she’s not afraid to act and then ask for forgiveness later. She’s someone who will not sit back and watch as things don’t go her way. We love that about her.
