The Bold and the Beautiful fans are all wondering what might happen now that there is an 8000th episode on the way this week. Friday is the big day, and there will be an episode that will change lives forever. It’s a big deal, and that’s coming on the heels of the show not being on all week. It’s been intense lately, and 2018 was a big year for many people. Steffy put herself out of the situation in which she was the girl coming between what Liam might want and might not want, and that allowed Hope to land him as her husband. She’s pregnant, but Steffy already had a baby with Liam this year. Brooke continues to have no idea what it is she wants in her personal life, and that means she’s spending her nights with her husband Ridge while spending all the additional time she can with Bill, her ex.
Wyatt and Sally are making big things happen in their life, and we only hope that this year is going to bring them some sort of big changes and exciting new places. They’ve been able to get their life together in a way that no one could have predicted, and we hope that they continue to see that same kind of happiness in the new year. And we also hope that Brooke can get it together, Eric can figure out what he wants, and Pam and Donna can stop all their sly side work and just let people get their lives together in some way that makes them feel happier and better about their own lives. We are just sitting here wondering why we cannot seem to get things to work out for everyone, but we can see that this was a year in which things did work out for so many.

There’s a storm, and that has caused Liam’s plane to remain grounded. He cannot get out of LA and off to Catalina to be with his pregnant wife, and things aren’t looking good for him. He’s going to be stuck in the airport working with some people that are going to see if they can help him, but we have a feeling it will be family who helps him get through this — and we also have a feeling that there will be more that goes on that we can imagine. We have a feeling that Hope will go into labor on the island without any medical attention, without her husband, and without the help she needs in her life as things go awry for her every chance they get. And we suspect that whatever happens will draw some serious problems into the mix when it all goes down.
But we also wonder what will happen when Liam calls his father and asks him for the help he needs to get to his wife. Will Bill pull through and make it possible for his son to get there so he can be with Hope as she goes into labor and only hopes and wishes her husband could be there with her? And will he come through for Brooke and Ridge when they also need to get to the island to be there for her when she goes into labor and things don’t go as planned? And will things work out for Steffy as she is left alone with her baby and no family?
