Recently you might have caught the debut of Tattoo Girls, a new show that follows the life of a group of friends from Springfield, Missouri and their running of Ink Ink, a local tattoo shop that takes customers from all locations in the U.S. and all requests. The show has caused a stir, even enough to have a petition to have it canceled on Change.org. The town of Springfield is both a religious and Southern one in which some of the ladies have made fun of. Perhaps that’s the reason for the petition?
In any event, these women have a very strong bond and it’s part of what makes the show interesting. In terms of who stars on the show: Kelsey is the own and leader. Nikki is a single mother who has a crush on a customer, and Meagan’s the one with the big personality.
On this week’s episode things get a little heated. Kelsey forgot a major rule with the ladies and went ahead with hiring an outsider, Liz to work at Ink Ink. The reason for the hire is that things have been super busy at the store (as evidenced in previous episodes). Still though, this breach in etiquette is sure to cause issues.
With regards to the rest of the episode and the customers we’ll be seeing, you’ll have to check out the sneak peek. You can check out an exclusive sneak peek on TVRuckus.
“Tattoo Girls” airs on TLC Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. ET/PT
