If you like sci-fi (or Syfy), then here’s some good new for you.
At their panel today during the Television Critics Association summer press tour, the network announced premiere dates for two new series and one returning one.
Incorporated, the new thriller series from Ben Affleck and Matt Damon (the dynamic duo, as I call them), will be premiering on Wednesday, November 30 on Syfy. The series stars Sean Teale (Reign), Dennis Haysbert (24) and Julia Ormond (Witches of East End), and it tells the story of a young executive in a near-future in which big business has a shadowy control over society.
Van Helsing, the new adaptation of the classic story starring Kelly Overton in the title role of the female vampire hunter, will premiere on Friday, September 23.
Channel Zero, the upcoming anthology series based around online creepypasta tales from screenwriter Max Landis, will launch on Tuesday, September 27. The first story, “Candle Cove,” will be about a man haunted by his memories of a freakish kids show from his childhood.
Also on Tuesday, September 27, the series Aftermath will launch after the premiere of Channel Zero. Aftermath tells the story of a family facing a post-apocalyptic plague and supernatural beasts, and it stars both Anne Heche and James Tupper.
In addition to these new series, Syfy also announced that their original series Z Nation will return for its thirs season on Friday, September 16.
