Every September, TV fanatics wait for premiere week to catch the return of their favorites series and also sample the new shows that will be hitting the airwaves. This week, we will provide guidance on what you need to watch live so you don’t miss the spoilers at the water cooler the next day at work. We will also discuss which shows can be recorded and watched on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Today, let’s take a look at Thursday nights. This day includes the return of #TGIT on ABC, a new promising drama on FOX, and the hilarious NBC comedy Superstore returning for a second season.

DVR: Superstore/The Good Place – Season two of Superstore will center around the team at Cloud 9 going on strike after they walked out of work in the season one finale. The Good Place is about a woman (Kristen Bell) who enters the after life and must change her shady behavior with the help of Ted Danson.

Watch Live: Pitch – This new critically-acclaimed series is about Ginny (Kylie Bunbury), the first female to play in Major League Baseball. The cast also includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Dan Lauria, Tim Jo, and Ali Larter.
DVR: Chicago Med – The second season of the medical drama focuses on April (Yaya DaCosta) dealing with her TB diagnosis and Choi (Brain Tee) getting the hang of his new gig as Chief Resident.

Watch Live: How to Get Away with Murder – It appears that mysteries just follow Annalise (Viola Davis) and her students. Now the professor must figure out who left a picture in the classroom with the word “Killer” written across it.
DVR: The Blacklist – Liz (Megan Boone) will learn a lot about her past this season from the man claiming to be her father (Ulrich Thomsen). He also just happens to be the man that kidnapped her at the conclusion of season three!
