Time is running out for Sam and Dean if they want to stop Amara before she destroys the world, and in order to do that, they have to repair a very damaged relationship between father and son in tonight’s Supernatural. In the sneak peek below from this week’s all-new hour, titled “We Happy Few,” the Winchesters do their best to be mediators between Lucifer (still using Castiel as a vessel) and Chuck (aka God), and while no one would have expected things to go smoothly between God and his favorite angel, they appear even worse than Sam and Dean expected.
Things get off to a rocky start, with Lucifer refusing to talk until Chuck speaks first. The two of them sit there in silence until Dean provides a suggestion.
“Okay, let’s try ‘I Feel’ statements,” Dean says, telling Sam he got the method from Dr. Phil.
However, the “I Feel” statements only cause the conversation between Chuck and Lucifer to get worse, as Chuck can’t help but sound condescending. Sam tries to offer him some advice.
“We all know that you are God, but maybe could you be a little less lordly?” Sam tells Chuck.
“But I am The Lord,” Chuck responds.
Supernatural airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW. Check out the sneak peek from “We Happy Few” below:
