Considering how good a job Melissa Benoist is doing as Supergirl, is there any reason a feature film isn’t in the works or isn’t being talked about? Is it because the 1984 version with Helen Snyder was so bad? That’s never stopped a studio from ever doing a remake in the past so what’s the hold up exactly? I’m confused. You already have the actress. You have a solid costume. Just up the production value and turn this thing into a film and hype it up to no end. Am I wrong? While we ponder that potential movie idea, let’s talk about Supergirl the show and the emergence of Zod.
Mark Gibbon has officially been seen on the set of Supergirl! The actor, who will be playing the infamous General Zod was snapped and filmed by people who happened to see the show filming its series finale in Vancouver. Gibbon had been rumored to be joining the cast as Zod and this footage seems to confirm that is who he will be in the series. Is Zod going to be too much of a match for Supergirl? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Can we get Joss Whedon to do a Supergirl movie? Just throwing that out there.
