It’s funny because I’m pretty sure I’ve known the Super Bowl kickoff time for at least 2 months and yet I found myself typing it into my browser this morning just to be 100% clear. If you are like me, and I’m guessing you are, you’ve probably typed in the same thing: “When does the Super Bowl kickoff?” at some point today. So I’ll tell you. Today’s actual Super Bowl kickoff time between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots takes place at 6:30pm EST/ 5:30pm CT. That’s it, period. Get all your stuff done. Make sure the sandwiches and wings are ready. Do what you gotta do today. Have the drinks on ice, have the friends over a few hours before, and just know that at 6:30pm EST the football should be in the air.

Predictions
I’m going with the Patriots in a shootout. I just can’t bet against Tom Brady. I know how good Matt Ryan’s been and everyone’s saying it’s his time. I just can’t rally behind this right now. It’s extremely hard to bet against Brady or Belichick. I just can’t do it. Belichick probably hasn’t left the tape room nor has he stopped surveillance on the Falcons since they defeated the Packers. He’s gonna come up with something. Dan Quinn is a fine coach in his own right but remember, he’s just a rookie.
I’m kind of rooting for the Falcons because anyone who isn’t a Patriots fan is rooting for the Falcons, but honestly I’m a Giants fan and I just want to see a great game.
