I Painted A Giant Mural Of The Traditional Foshan Lion Dance In Taipei

My new mural of the traditional Chinese lion dance located nearby Taipei’s SOGO department store. This painting was inspired by the classical Chinese imagery. It displays two lions emblazoned in a mosaic wash of bold colors set in a gorgeous mountainous landscape.

There is a Taiwan red seal stamp on the top left corner, while the right side bears the Imperial Taels seal with my personal signature in calligraphy sitting atop. I explore new ways to combine Western styles with traditional Chinese methods and elements including ink painting.
