Stephen Colbert Compares Trump’s Healthcare Plan to Game of Thrones

We just keep moving from one issue to the next in the Trump administration don’t we?  It feels like his series of tweets accusing President Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower were at least a  month ago.  We all know that was by design because only a day later the President unveiled his new Healthcare plan which is in complete opposition to Obama’s Affordable Care Act.  Who was there to analyze the plan?  Stephen Colbert compared President Trump’s revised health care plan to HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” on Wednesday night’s episode. “A lot of your favorite characters are going to die without warning.”

In his opening monologue, Colbert said that Trump told GOP house members the midterm election could be a “bloodbath” if they don’t pass the revised healthcare bill. “Which would be terrible because their healthcare plan does not cover bloodbath.”

While this is just the start of the plan, it’s going to be a long while before anything, if anything, gets implemented.  However, one thing is for certain.  Initial impressions of this plan are uncovering that its kind of a “all or nothing” plan in the sense that if you’re rich you’ll be covered and if you’re not you won’t.

Unlike the GOP’s new healthcare plan, Stephen’s monologue offers full coverage, including treatment for Russian ambassadors with pre-existing connections.
