Star D-Lineman Tahj Rice Announces His Commitment With A Superhero Movie

I will be the first person to tell you that I can’t stand parents like LaVar Ball who completely exploits his sons’ talent. I personally think what he’s been doing to promote Lonzo and LaMelo (and soon LiAngelo) is flat out absurd and disgusting. He’s telling people Lonzo ball is already better than Steph Curry. He’s parading around yapping his big mouth and it’s not even him that he’s yapping about. It’s his sons! I’m truly hoping this kind of “recruiting” tactic stops. The amount of showmanship for high school athletes is disturbing me, and it appears to be getting worse.

And what’s up with this new wave of high school commitment to college videos? We used to never hear about who high school players were committing to. Then we started getting actual announcements. Then the announcements went on television. Now we’re getting commitment videos? Yup. The whole thing is sickening but even I can appreciate the work that went into Star D-Linemen Tahj Rice’s commitment video. Rice teamed up with the Courier-Journal to film this masterpiece.  While the recent pageantry behind all these commitment announcements is over the top, I’ll let this one slide by.
