The First Ever Front Flip In A Monster Truck Has Landed

I can tell you that from first hand experience, attending a monster truck event is something you’ll want to experience at least once in your life.  I’ll be going to one at Nassau Coliseum this summer and the last time I went to one was in college in the year 2000.  It was at the Super Dome and I went with an extremely rural friend of mine from Florida.  I’m not even remotely joking when I tell you he said the word “Awesome” at least 1500 times in a Southern drawl that was simply incredible.

But everything I thought a monster truck rally could be, it was.   The engines were loud.  The crowd was just as I suspected it to be.  And it was 100 times better than my expectations.  Honestly it was one of the coolest live events I’ve ever been to.   What capped it off was Gravedigger doing a complete flip and the crowd went absolutely bananas.  But that was a flip on the ground.  Nowadays these cars are doing backflips off of ramps.

However, for the first time ever, a car did a front flip. This is a video of driver Lee O’Donnell landing a front flip in the Mad Scientist monster truck during the recent Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle Championship in Las Vegas. The flip helped secure Lee a first place victory in the competition.   This is unreal.  I can’t wait till this summer.
