As another week in Port Charles comes to a close, it has been the perfect set up for what’s to come. As several characters on General Hospital are on the brink of some very interesting moments, the next several episodes will hopefully answer some burning questions. According to spoilers, the reading of Helena’s last will and testament will be full of surprises. Of course, there are a lot of people who are hoping to get something, and as you can imagine everyone isn’t going to be satisfied. But since Helena doesn’t have a lot of family, it’s going to be very interesting to see how things pan out. For all everyone knows, she could throw a huge curve ball at everyone’s expectations and include some random people in her will. Or better yet, Helena’s will make give rise to a family member that no one has ever known about before. Stranger things have certainly happened. However, if there’s one person Helena has definitely left something for, it’s Laura – it’s just a matter of what.
When the will is finally read, Laura will leave for a little trip, but it’s going to be unclear where she’s going and why. Is there something good waiting for her, or is this Helena’s final way to take a stab at Laura. After all, Helena was certainly not Laura’s biggest fan, and death has never stopped anyone else in Port Charles from plotting revenge. Plus, there’s still some question about whether or not Helena is even really dead. She wouldn’t be the first person in Port Charles to ‘die’ and not actually be dead. And there’s one thing that all General Hospital viewers know, it’s that nothing is off-limits to the people off Port Charles, especially when it comes to payback.

As usual, Laura won’t be the only character dealing with some issues. Liz and Jake will be looking for a place to stay since their house was destroyed in a fire. On top of that, Jake will have to spend some time in the hospital due to the injuries he received. However, that isn’t the only thing he’s going to need treatment for. If Jason or Liz had any doubts about their son’s condition, they’ve been silenced by his most recent actions. His little plot to get back at Sam went way too far, and even though he has shown empathy for sam and the situation, it doesn’t change the fact that his temper is extremely out of control. Between the damages to her house and the reality of her child’s mental health, Liz is going to be facing some real challenges during the upcoming episodes. At this point, it’s getting a little difficult to not feel sorry for her. There’s always something going on and it’s really starting to seem like she’s never going to catch a break. But of course, she isn’t the only one.
Sonny is also dealing with some personal issues, and he’s worried that he will lose his visitation rights with Avery. For parents, there’s nothing worse than being kept away from their children, but since Sonny may be dangerous to Avery’s mom, it might not be such a bad idea in this case. Of course, he won’t see things that way, but it’s still unclear what he’s going to do.
Next week’s episodes are going to be full of many of the things you’ve probably been waiting to see, and there are several characters whose storylines could take some very interesting turns. With relationships constantly being put to the test, it’s only a matter of time before some people break. However, others will prove to flourish under pressure, and some of the characters you least expect may be rising to the top.
