Melissa McCarthy made quite a stir over the weekend as she reprised her role as White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Saturday Night Live. One of the most popular segments of the show is when McCarthy could be seen cruising through the streets of midtown Manhattan on a motorized podium. News outlets everywhere reported on the fact that SNL had taken over the streets to do the skit. Needless to say scenes like this aren’t always easy to film. Not only that, they have huge potential for big time mistakes.
It’s nearly impossible to film something in the middle of the day in the middle of NYC without people noticing. And boy, did they notice. Luckily SNL was nice enough to not only film this gem but they also recorded all of the mistakes made while filming. Enjoy some of the outtakes that happened during the making of this fantastic skit.
