Seven Live Performances By U2 That Absolutely Rocked

U2

As everyone gears up for halftime at the Super Bowl I couldn’t help but to think about bands that really rock live in concert.  And if there’s one thing I’d love to be in this world (other than a writer for this website) it would be a rock star. Movie stars, I guess, sure. They have a sweet life but nothing’s like connecting with a crowd in a live setting.  And of all the bands that really connect in concert, I think U2 is at the top if not the very top of the list (Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones, and Pearl Jam would be my other main picks).

If any of you have been to a U2 concert I think you’ll know what I’m talking about here. You see these guys on stage and just wonder how in the world four guys can generate that much energy with 60-100 thousand people at one time. It’s really quite extraordinary. And of all the stuff these guys perform, here are seven great live song performances you gotta love.  And you gotta love it even if you don’t like U2.  You’ll see what I mean.
