Have any of you ever been to a NASCAR race? Speaking from experience I have to say that while the actual race itself is kind of boring, the night before the race is pretty amazing.   The infield is is one of the most entertaining events you could possibly imagine. Tons of partying and tons of crazy people going nuts the night before a race.  As far as the race itself, you get all adrenaline rush for maybe the first five minutes and then you realize it’s cars driving around a track for over 3 hours.  Gets a little repetitive.  Unless….

If you get to witness a crash it’s pretty exciting.  And I don’t mean to sound insensitive.  I’m just being truthful here.  Car crashes are one of the most eye opening moments in car racing.  Which to me, kind of begs the question of why people attend these things. Do they want to see a crash? Are we that thirsty for violence? Luckily in many of the crashes drivers turn out to be OK but wow, it’s intense to watch.

Here are 7 pretty nasty car crashes in the world of NASCAR
