Seth Meyers Reveals Alternate Ending to Kendall Jenner Pepsi Ad

As you’re surely aware by now, the Pepsi commercial featuring Kendall Jenner is being ripped to shreds by the media.  Earlier today I posted a video of the Stephen Colbert analysis of the ad.  Now I’m going to share something that Seth Meyers did.   While Meyers also took to the camera to decipher this monstrosity of “short film,” he took it a step further.

Seth Meyers shared the new finish Wednesday on “Late Night,” and let’s just say people might not be buying Pepsi for a little while.  In the NBC late-night show’s version, writer Amber Ruffin takes on the task of handing a white cop the Pepsi. He initially seems receptive – until he calls for backup. FYI Pepsi has already pulled the ad and apologized for failing to do anything resembling anything.

“Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding,” the company said in a statement. “Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are pulling the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position.”
