With schools being shut down, most parents are tasked with both taking care of their kids and also working from home. While some of them enjoy having some extra time to spend their families, there are also those who are struggling with the task. Recently, the BBC decided to check in with some parents to see how they are doing during the global crisis. Of course, the first family they decided to interview is the very same one that went viral in 2017 when their children crashed dad’s interview on live TV.

Remember the Kelly family? Back in 2017, professor Robert Kelly was giving a live interview to BBC News. At the time, the man was working from home and decided to give an interview from his home office when his daughter barged into the room.
Her father tried delicately to push the little one away while carrying on with the interview. Then his toddler son rushed in alongside their panicking mom trying to get the kids out of the room.
While the predicament left Robert embarrassed and apologetic, people absolutely loved the comic moment. The video quickly went viral all over the internet and even a few years later, people still remember the Kelly family.

Today, Robert and his wife Jung-a Kim continue to live in South Korea with their two children, Marion and James. It’s obvious that the little ones, even despite being a little bit older, are still as mischievous as ever. During this interview, to which they were actually invited, the kids could hardly stay in their seats.
The parents admitted that they are having a tough time staying alone in their home with the kids. “For us, as you can see, it’s very difficult, for employers who have employees with kids our age, it’s very difficult”, Robert said. “I’m getting two hours work done a day, maybe three. They’ve got nothing to do, they’re climbing the walls. It’s really tough,” the father admitted. Jung-a Kim agreed, adding: “It’s very difficult to stay in the house for a very long time. We try to go out and see the flowers and the trees and they can shout and scream.”
