Real Life Dragon Ball Superhero Solves Rubik’s Cube With Eyes Closed

So picture this, you’re on the subway, minding your own business, and then you notice this guy dressed in Dragonball Z gear with a bright pink backpack and a Rubik’s cube in one hand. Then you notice as he tosses it back and forth from hand to hand that he’s solving the cube with each hand as he passes it back and forth. And then if you look closer you’ll notice that he’s listening to music at the same time. And yet no one around him seems to be impressed. Maybe they tend to see this kind thing often enough that it’s become commonplace. Oh, did I forget to mention that his eyes are closed while he’s doing this?

That’s at least level 90 impressive. The only way it could get to be any more would be if he was in full Dragonball Z armor, I mean cosplay style, and was doing one Rubik’s cube per hand while singing to the music. Now that would be straight up level 100 and beyond. But this is just amazingly impressive to be honest. No matter who looks at this and says ‘meh’ it’s still something that you don’t see everyday.

First off how many of us sit around with a Rubik’s cube anymore? Anyone? There might be some enthusiasts that still see the need for or the desire to try and solve the cubic puzzle. But this guy is tossing it from side to side, with his eyes closed no less, and SOLVING the puzzle. You can see with each pass from hand to hand that he’s got more of the cube figured out as he continues.

This leads me to believe that he has a system for the cube that a lot of people wouldn’t even bother with since it takes time and a great deal of skill to learn. The Rubik’s cube works on a system of interlocking pieces that prevent it from falling apart and thereby allow the user to move the cube in various directions so as to match the colors. The trick of this is that if you know which direction to move each bar you can accomplish the puzzle fairly quickly. That however is something that a lot of people don’t seem able to do. Yet this guy is doing it one-handed and accomplishing it with his eyes closed and while listening to music.

Such a talent seems unreal, but if the man happens to know the number of turns it takes to align the sides and which way they need to go in order to complete the puzzle then it should be a cinch. But then you get the issue of asking yourself just how in the world could anyone be that skilled with a Rubik’s cube?

Without knowing much else about him and not having any basis to go on you can deduce one of two things.

1. He’s exceptionally talented and quite smart if a little eccentric with his choice in clothing and backpacks. This often speaks of a very innate sense of intelligence that is not always realized due to a person’s choice in outward appearance.

or

2. He’s had a lot of practice with the cube and simply knows how it works and how many turns and twists it takes to line it up.

It kind of seems like both options would be likely when placed together. But there’s no denying the guy is gifted.
