For all of the Radiohead fans out there, your day is about to get so much better! Radiohead just announced on Tuesday, February 20th, that the band is going to be headed out on tour for the summer, spanning various regions of the North American continent to bring their music to audiences everywhere. The English band is set to hit various United States and Canadian venues during the month of July, which we will talk about in a bit here. We are going to give you all of the details that we know so far about the upcoming tour for the band, and what you can expect from them during those warm summer performances.
Where They’re Playing
As we mentioned before, Radiohead’s Arena Tour this summer will take place at sixteen different venues located in various United States and Canadian cities. The expected dates are as follows:
- The tour takes off on July 7th at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois,
- July 10th through 13th at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York,
- July 16th and July 17th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada,
- July 19th and July 20th at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada,
- July 22nd at the Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit, Michigan,
- July 23rd at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio,
- July 25th at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio,
- July 26th at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
- July 28th and July 29th at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts,
- July 31st and finally, everything wrapping up on August 1st at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Although it is just going to be a short, one month tour in duration as of now, they still have a jam packed schedule that is going to please fans all throughout the eastern part of the country.
Other Things To Expect From The Tour
In case you haven’t realized, this is the first time that fans will be seeing the band tour on the North American borders since the spring of 2017. The Arena tour that is coming up will focus on the band’s 2016 album that they released, entitled “A Moon Shaped Pool”. Although these are the dates that have been set for sure, there is still potential for other dates and venues to also be added to the list as we get closer to the summer.
Not many other details have been released since the official announcement was made just recently, but fans are getting hyped up to see the band makes some North American appearances once again.
