This gallery of Star Wars HD Wallpaper for your PC’s desktop is pretty awesome since it pulls from the past few films that have been made and incorporates elements from the original films as well. Each picture is of such high quality that you might think you’re watching the movie it’s from and have it on pause. The newer movies have definitely advanced the technology of the franchise even if some folks think they haven’t added enough in the way of content. That remains debatable however since to be quite honest just taking the franchise in a new direction isn’t enough to trash on it and say that it hasn’t offered enough. In truth Star Wars has been given a new lease on life in many ways now that old stories are being given origins and gaps in the story are being filled in. There are a bunch of different directions to go now with the story and if you look closely enough you might even find reasons for them in some of these pictures.
For instance, who in the world would have thought that there would be another desolate world like Tatooine out there? Jakku seems even more barren and a lot less forgiving, but it’s a scavenger’s haven since Imperial wreckage is to be found throughout the dunes as long as one is willing to search for it. Then there are the storm troopers that have shown a great deal of difference in their armor finally. In the original films there were only a couple of variations, but in the newer movies we’ve managed to see several types of troopers that are differentiated by the job they are tasked to do. Star Wars and the creators behind the new story lines have been doing a great job of creating a vast new look at the story that was first released in 1977.
It’s regrettable that some characters had to be lost and some had to be sacrificed to bring forth the new canon, but so far things have gone along just fine and should continue to do so as long as the franchise continues. New characters have been introduced, new worlds have been created, and a new story line has taken off in an attempt to keep things alive. Like a lot of fans I do wish that the legends canon had been kept as there were many amazing stories that could have kept Star Wars alive for many years to come. But that’s in the past now and needs to be let go so that the future of the story can be allowed to flourish. Just think of what kind of pictures we might get from episode 9 and other films that are destined to come out.
As an avid Star Wars fan and someone that’s been one for many years it’s hard to say such things, but pining for something that’s not bound to happen isn’t going to bring it to light. Instead it’s best to focus on the fact that we still have Star Wars and that the amazing stories that have been released are just the beginning of a new era.
