Preacher Fan Theories That We Think Might Be True

Fans of the AMC show “Preacher” have been so intrigued with the series that their loyalty has taken them in several different directions. There are a lot of unanswered questions and this is the hallmark of good writing. If viewers were not impressed with the story line, they wouldn’t care enough to wonder. There are some pretty good ideas circulating around so we’re going to share the “Preacher” fan theories that we think might end up being true.

The Saint of Killers is going to be Graham McTavish

Everyone who’s into “Preacher” is interested in knowing who this character is going to be. Most believe that the announcement is going to come any time and the Reddit theory is that Grahma McTavish is probably going to be on the show and this is the role that he will take. Why do they think this is the case? Well, if you scan the IMDB listing you’ll see that his name appears there in episode 8. The actor himself has said that he is set to assume some “secret role.” If you put two and two together, the theory is probably right on track, but nobody is fessing up to it yet.

McTavish may be set to play a different character

Whenever you have a fan theory, there is another one to counter it. This is the case with “Preacher” fans. There are those that think that all of the sleuthing may have led them in the wrong direction. It is entirely possible that McTavish will be cast in a role other than the Saint of Killers. Wouldn’t this be a shocker for Preacher theorists? He could end up with the part of Jesse Custer.

Ron Perlman may also join the cast

The other popular theory about who will be cast in the role of the Saint of Killers is Ron Perlman. He has the look and he’s available but there is little more to base this theory on that guesstimation and perhaps a little wishful thinking. Anything is possible though.

DeBlanc isn’t really dead

This is another fan theory. DeBlanc was shot dead, but the act that he is an angels means that he was already dead. He may appear in some other form. Do the same rules to life and death apply in Hell? We didn’t see DeBlanc reappear so the question is still alive in the minds of fans.

Fiore and DeBlanc are the parents of Genesis

We saw that Fiore was unusually upset over the death of DeBlanc. A fan theory asserts that she and DeBlanc are the parents of Genesis. We suppose that this is entirely possible, but the show leaves many more questions than it answers.

Arseface will return

This is another fan theory. There is an assumption that Eugene is stuck in hell because of Jesse’s curse that sent hi there. So far there has been nobody around to bring him back, but some fans think that this is going to be another storyline. For those of you who are not familiar with this aspect of the story, Eugene is also known as Arseface. In one unlikely scenario, compliments of Reddit, Eugene could have possibly been sent to Hell, Michigan instead of the hot spot. There isn’t a high likelihood that this is going to happen, but it is worth an honorable mention.
