You might notice a lot of times that pictures from behind the scenes and interesting graphics from movie sets are closely guarded on a regular basis. When they do let those pictures out it’s a time to rejoice since you get to see a bit of the film that you’ve been dying to go see and can understand at least a little of what’s going into the making of that film. For some people these pictures aren’t really needed since they just want to go and be amazed. Others are extremely interested in finding out more about the process. So let’s take a look and see what we can see.
Valkyrie is going to be a fairly big presence in this film so it’s not too surprising to see her stepping up in these pictures. Tessa Thompson has a lot to live up to being in an MCU movie, so let’s hope she’s on point. So far from the previews all looks well.
This looks kind of like a giant LEGO or Nerf set that anyone might enjoy. It’s interesting though that everything has to have its own color designation so that it can be included and edited in the film.
Everything has got to be on point and the marks have to be hit just so in order to get the shot right. I wonder how frequently the actors have to be stopped and given minute directions that can affect their character.
Thor has always been one of the most impressive superheros in the MCU, and now that the rules are changing in his world he’s bound to get so much better out of necessity. This graphic seems to allude to a much more aggressive mien than anything he’s shown thus far. Yes, it is possible.
Valkyrie is a new addition to the Thor franchise, but so far she looks like a welcome one. After all, sometimes even the greatest heroes need help.
It’ll be interesting to see what role Odin plays in this film since he hasn’t been seen in the previews as of yet. If he has at all it’s been in glimpses and nothing more.
Loki is the kind of villain you can’t help but admit that you need from time to time. He’s the last person you’d want to trust but he’s definitely one of the guys you’d want in front of you, fighting WITH you of course.
Hela is the big bad that you know exists but don’t expect to attack unless she gets a wild hair up her butt, which she does obviously.
I really, REALLY want to know how the Hulk got there. If it alludes to World War Hulk at all it would be nice to know.
For as much as he’s said he doesn’t like playing the character of Heimdall Idris Elba seems more than willing to come back. Thank goodness.
The Grandmaster is another newcomer to the movies but seeing as how the part is being played by Jeff Goldblum it should be well done.
Bring on Ragnarok, the fans are ready.
