Last week Juliette Barnes returned to Nashville after months away seeking treatment for substance abuse and postpartum depression. She came back healthy and determined to get her life back on track, including both her family and her career. If Juliette thought that reconnecting with ex Avery would be difficult, she is in for an uphill battle where her management team is concerned. Now that she’s home, her hard work is not over by a long shot.
Juliette’s first stop upon returning home was to her daughter and soon to be ex-husband Avery. She’s made small strides there, and even took one giant leap by revealing her struggles to the world at a press conference. Now it’s time for Juliette to get back to doing what she loves, making music. Music is what saved her from poverty, it brought her and Avery together, and now Juliette is counting on it to be apart of her healing. Who better to help Juliette on this journey than her former manager Glenn? You’ll recall that Glenn was Juliette’s manager for years, and became her friend and sort of a surrogate father to Juliette, before she fired him when she was in the middle of her postpartum depression. Juliette hopes that time and a fresh start will elicit forgiveness from Glenn, but as you’ll see, Glenn isn’t exactly feeling the love right away.
Check out the clips below to see Glenn’s varied reactions to Juliette reentering his life.
“When There’s a Fire In Your Heart”-The Exes struggle with fame as they go on tour with Autumn Chase. Elsewhere, Maddie and Cash’s developing bond displeases a suspicious Deacon; Juliette seeks to reunite with Glenn; and Will and Kevin wind up working together again.
Can Juliette earn back Glenn’s trust? Tune into an all new Nashville tonight to find out.
