Nashville’s Connie Britton Talks Acting With Larry King in The People v. O.J. Simpson on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Nashville

Connie Britton appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to promote the return of Nashville, which kicks off the second half of its fourth season beginning next Wednesday. However, the conversation quickly shifted to another popular series she’s been on this year; in fact, it might be the most talked about show on TV right now: The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

In the FX series, Britton plays Faye Resnick, friend of the late Nicole Brown Simpson, and she and Kimmel discussed one of the show’s more recent episodes, in which Resnick writes and publishes a book before O.J.’s trial officially begins. During the episode, not only does Resnick publish her book, but she appears on various television talk shows, such as Larry King Live, to promote it. Kimmel was curious if Britton actually shared the screen with King or if it was some type of digital version of him that they used.

“That’s Larry in a wig,” the Nashville star told Kimmel. “That’s the real, modern day, nowadays Larry in a wig.”

Britton then described how much King enjoyed wearing the wig and being on the show, even imitating his voice. She also mentioned how King helped her tap into who Faye Resnick was.

“He was like Faye was a very sexy woman, very flirtatious, which was very helpful for me,” Britton told Kimmel.

However, it turns out that Britton may have done too good of a job of embodying Faye. Watch Kimmel’s interview with her below to find out why:
