In a career that has spanned over four decades, Canadian actor Michael Hogan has showcased excellent performances across platforms. The actor fell and struck his head at a dinner that followed a Battlestar Galactica convention in Vancouver, Canada. He believed he was fine after the fall but couldn’t wake the next morning.
Hogan was rushed to Vancouver General Hospital, where it was uncovered that he sustained a massive brain injury. He underwent emergency surgery but is yet to fully recover as the accident left him completely paralyzed on his left side. Confirming the incident, his wife shared that the actor suffers “memory loss, cognitive impairment, and an inability to swallow.”

Hogan met his wife at the National Theater School of Canada. Susan Hogan’s career also dates back to the 70s with dozens of stage, movie, and television roles. She made her screen debut in 1971 as Monica Hamlyn in the “Turn to the Wind’ episode of The Manipulators. Susan is probably best known for playing Nickie Rimbaud in the Canadian police crime drama series Night Heat (1985 – 1989). Her recent roles are in Sealed with a Kiss: Wedding March 6 (2021), Supergirl (2021), and Harmony from the Heart (2022).
