Mexican Congressman Braulio Guerra Climbs 30-Foot Border Wall To Mock Donald Trump

While much of politics is focusing on Jeff Sessions right now, I’d like to take a moment to give pause to that and focus on something 100 times funnier.   According to the Daily Mail:

A Mexican congressman says Donald Trump’s planned wall on the border of the US and Mexico is useless — and he has the selfies to prove it. Braulio Guerra, a congressman from Queretaro, posted video and pictures of himself and a couple of other people on Twitter Thursday casually climbing a 30-foot fence along the border of the US and Tijuana. He called the proposed wall ‘absurd and unnecessary spending … that does wrong and harms our good neighborliness.’ ‘I was able to scale it, climb it, and sit myself right here,’ Guerra said in the video, according to ABC News. ‘It would be simple for me to jump into the United States, which shows that it is unnecessary and totally absurd to build a wall.’ ‘You can climb it with great ease, one climbs in an instant,’ he continued. ‘I climbed it in Tijuana, one of the highest parts, even from a distance this looks very complex, but there are young people that go up and down, at all times.’

Of all the mocking and joking about Trumps proposal border wall, this is by far the best thing I’ve seen.  While we have no clue what Trumps $30 billion wall would actually look like, Guerra makes one hell of a point here, not to mention an awesome smug look when he reaches the top.

Don’t people know that walls do nothing?  People have been figuring out walls for centuries.  While I’m against any wall whatsoever you should at least try and build one of those force field things that they had in the show Lost.  Those are definitely legit.

But as Guerra easily points out here, $30 billion would be a huge waste of money when all it takes is some jeans and a little bit of effort.
