Alright, no one’s talking about the fact that James Corden and Victoria Beckham did a remake of the movie Mannequin from 1987? Personally I think that’s the real news here. And P.S. they did an extremely solid job of it. Instead everyone’s focusing on Victoria Beckham teasing her “Carpool Karaoke” stint on the show. Yesterday Beckham was teasing fans with screen shots from her Carpool Karaoke rehearsal with James Cordn. Most people were pretty happy about it with the exception of one former Spice Girl: Mel B. Sources say that:
“Mel is livid Victoria is all of a sudden embracing her Spice Girls past after years of trying to distance herself from the band,” an insider told The Sun. She was desperate for the girls to go on a very lucrative reunion tour to celebrate their music with millions of fans but once Posh pulled out, the idea began to crumble leaving the [other] members of the band…[with] no choice but to ditch it. Mel feels it’s unfair Victoria is now using their music to boost her own profile.”
Really? That’s what your angry at her about? When’s the last time the Spice Girls were famous? Boosting her own profile? Victoria Beckham’s profile hasn’t needed boosting for quite some time and Mel B is now a judge on America’s Got Talent. Move on will ya?
