Megyn Kelly is Said to Make Female Staffers Cry According to Ex-Makeup Artist

Rumors tend to abound about people when you’re not looking and Megyn Kelly is just one more name to add to the list of people that are already not adored. According to a retired makeup artist that was around Kelly for long enough the hostess was quite adept at making staffers cry and was even somewhat aggressive towards them at times. While it’s easy to discount an ex-employee’s words as being bitter and resentful towards their former boss it’s also very dismissive to label Kelly as anything but a rather cold individual whose show hasn’t really gotten the lift it needs just on account of the fact that she doesn’t seem like the warmest, most caring individual.

Unfortunately it’s hard to know just how much of her attitude is a front to keep people at a distance. At home it could be that she’s completely different, but unless someone speaks up we really have no other basis to go off of. According to the former employee Kelly used to be very aggressive towards some of the other individuals she worked with and ran a very tense set that made a lot of people nervous. As it was mentioned above Kelly is not the most well-liked hostess on TV at the moment and quite honestly she has rubbed a few people the wrong way seemingly on purpose. But again in her defense she is running a show, not attempting to make a friends’ club. Off screen however it is usually a good idea to not make too many enemies around the set as it tends to alienate a great many people and make one’s stock drop perilously the more trouble that is caused.

At this time however Kelly’s representatives have discredited the former employee’s words stating that they are a load of garbage and have no basis on what goes on around the set at all. Yet for all their denials it can’t help but be noticed that Kelly is still a rather chilly figure even while she’s on the show. There have been moments such as the interview with Jane Fonda when Kelly decided to talk about the plastic surgery that Fonda had undergone that she definitely crossed a line that should have been left alone. The look that Fonda gave Kelly in that moment she asked the question was simply scathing to say the least, and if looks could kill Kelly might have been in the obituaries the next day. But the worst part about it perhaps, even worse than the act of asking the question, is that while Fonda was glaring at her Kelly was laughing, trying to pass it off as girl talk and nothing serious.

That alone lends a bit of credence to the former employee’s claims and the reality that the studio might be protecting their investment as much as they can in trying to discredit the employee. Kelly could be a nice person to those she wants to show that side to and nasty to others, but in a business like this you would almost believe that you’d want to make more friends than enemies.
