One of her most current roles has Harshman playing Delilah Fielding in the hit TV series NCIS. She plays the extremely smart paraplegic wife of Special Agent Timothy McGee. Harshman didn’t always play a paraplegic on the show, but it was one of the most important aspects of her character’s development. It was also a huge step for the show overall.
2. Her Breakout Role Came When She Was 14
When Harshman was 14 years old, she landed the role of Tawny Dean in the hit Disney show, Even Stevens, opposite Shia LaBeouf. She played her character for three years, from 2000 until 2003. That role proved to be a great platform for her to grow; she hasn’t stopped ever since.
3. She Was on The Big Bang Theory
Another role that most likely put her out there was as Sheldon Cooper’s (Jim Parsons) assistant, Alex Jensen, in another hit TV series, The Big Bang Theory. Margo Harshman only played that role from 2012 to 2013, but she definitely added her own element to the tightly-knit show.
4. She Comes From A Sporty Family
For the most part, sports runs in Harshman’s family. She is related to Jack Harshman, a former professional baseball pitcher. He played for various MLB teams, such as the Giants, White Sox, Orioles, Red Sox, and the Indians. She’s also related to former college basketball coach Marv Harshan.
5. She Was A Busy kid
Margo Harshman started working towards her dream of becoming an actress early on in her life. She entered her first beauty pageant when she was just two years old. By the time she was three years old, she went into gymnastics and dance. By the time she turned five, she started taking piano classes, and at eight years old, she met her first manager and was ready to start acting.
