Josh Greenberg’s wacky and weird search for love will continue. FXX has renewed Man Seeking Woman for a third season. The comedy series, created and run by Simon Rich, will return with all 10 episodes of Season 3 in early 2017.
“Man Seeking Woman had another great season this year and continues to offer one of the smartest and funniest takes on dating and relationships on TV today,” Nick Grad, co-president of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions, said in a statement. “We are excited to move forward on a third season of Man Seeking Woman with Simon, Jonathan, Andrew, Ian and Lorne, and thank Jay, Eric and Britt for keeping the show so enjoyable.”
Man Seeking Woman stars Jay Baruchel as the unlucky-in-love Josh Greenberg, who finds himself in the most surreal situations as he struggles to meet the right person in the insane world of dating. The show’s cast also includes Eric Andre as Josh’s best friend, Mike, and Britt Lower as Josh’s sister, Liz.
As mentioned above, Man Seeking Woman was created by Simon Rich, and the series is based off of his collection of short stories, The Last Girlfriend on Earth. Rich serves as an executive producer on the series alongside Jonathan Krisel, Andrew Singer, Ian Maxtone-Graham, and Lorne Michaels.
