Lucifer Sneak Peek: A Case comes Detective Decker’s way, Lucifer feels reborn

Lucifer

The last time we saw our favourite Devil was when he finally got his wings back only to burn them to spite Amenadiel for orchestrating the entire theft of said wings as an attempt to get Lucifer to go back to Hell. In the sneak peek clip below, Lucifer says that he feels reborn, but as what? He’s still the Devil, the man said so himself when Detective Decker asked if he still believes that he is the Devil (even though he’s starting to become more mortal the longer he stays on the earthly plane) so what else could it be? Lucifer said to Maze in the sneak peek clip that he can be whoever he wants now that his wings are burnt to a crisp, I await to find out just who he wants to be “reborn” as come Monday (or Tuesday rather. Need to review Scorpion first and foremost).

Dr. Martin’s expertise is sought after once again as Detective Decker and Lucifer work on a case that involves the murder of a therapist. Perhaps she can get to the bottom of Lucifer’s new look on life or whatever. This coming episode will also have Officer Malcolm, who was brought back from the dead courtesy of Amenadiel, asking questions about the night that he was shot. Wonder who the true culprit is? Could it be the officer that dropped the 999 key to the precinct? Or could it be someone else in the LAPD? The plot, as they say, thickens.

I also wonder if the wings that Lucifer burned are his actual wings or if it was the fake ones that was put up for bid at the auction. If it is the fake ones, where would Lucifer store his real wings? He can’t put it back in the container anymore and I don’t think that he can get a safe big enough to hold such large wings. Unless he really burned his real wings only to put out the flames before it’s destroyed completely. I have a feeling that I will be doing a lot of switching back and forth between Lucifer and Scorpion on Monday night.
