Roll your eyes, groan, and feel free to wonder when Lindsay Lohan is going to say ‘enough’ when it comes to being ridiculed for doing something that’s perceived as, and probably is, quite foolish. Then go on and read how her most recent attempt to sue those responsible for Grand Theft Auto V resulted in yet another loss for team LiLo. The picture above of a character in the game called Lacey Jonas is what Lohan has been fuming about for the last four years when it comes to this game, as she claims that the girl is a lookalike that has taken on her persona, as the character is actually on record as saying that she was an actress in high school movies.
And if that wasn’t enough she’s flashing the same peace sign that Lohan has been spotted flashing in a photo some time ago. And yes, Lohan has been flashing that peace sign since before the game was made and after. Cue the collective groan as the world should be able to tell Lohan that people have been flashing that sign since long before she was born. This stands out as yet another instance in which Lohan seems to be after anything and everything that can keep her relevant and is failing abysmally unless one can count the amount of ridicule she’s stacking up as time goes on. She had a lot of promise and if she would get off the kick of blaming others for things that are highly irrelevant then she might even be able to mount a comeback that could see her become a rather distinguished woman in film again.
But lawsuits like this and the highly laughable position she’s been given as spokeswoman for Lawyer.com are not helping her case in the slightest. In fact it almost seems as though she’s trying to make a career out of being ridiculed, which other actors and celebrities should be able to tell her is a very iffy proposition that doesn’t always go as well as it could. Right now her career has plummeted to the depths at which a comeback might not be all the feasible, if even possible. Her decision to be as self-destructive as possible in the past didn’t do her any favors as she managed to foul up a career that could have been going somewhere. But suing a company over a video game character is causing the bottom to shake very dangerously at this time as she doesn’t seem to realize that she’s standing on a very tenuous spot that could be a metaphorical ejector seat or a pitfall that’s just waiting to send her rocketing right out of the spotlight or falling into a dark hole that some actors never manage to make it out of. Either way she’s not doing a lot of good just sitting there stomping her feet and testing fate.
It might seem like she’s being mercilessly ridiculed, but in some ways people are actually hoping that she’ll do a 180 and realize just how much of this drama is on her.
